12 May 2026: Our sponsored girl, Suba, lives with her parents in the south of Sierra Leone. The family’s meagre income is barely enough to cover their basic needs. By supporting Suba, we are also helping her family and her entire village.

The same applies to Nithurshan, who lives with his parents in the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. Excessive deforestation there has led to landslides and flooding, depriving the people who make their living from tea cultivation of their livelihoods.

We want to inspire others with our vision of strong individuals: a sponsorship not only improves the living conditions of the sponsored children in the long term and sustainably, but also those of their families and the people in their region.

In Sri Lanka, sponsorship represents an investment in infrastructure (such as climate protection through sustainable farming methods) as well as in clean drinking water and sanitation facilities for families and schools.
