FolioLine® - System for Standardized Asset Management

Fact Sheet FolioLine
Info letter on Standardized asset management

Standardization in asset management means that customers with the same investment profile are grouped in order to be handled uniformly. This facilitates the greatest degree of processing automation as well as a uniform quality basis for asset management.

Professional software such as the FolioLine system developed by abraxas enables convenient and largely automated performance of standardized asset management based on individual securities, such as shares, mutual funds, annuities, certificates and derivatives.

The performance range of FolioLine covers all aspects of processing from allocation to customer reporting and calculation of fees. Transactions (securities and foreign exchange) are processed largely automatically between the systems involved; manual intervention is unnecessary.

In addition to the basic features, there are additional modules available to the user:
  • Customer relationship management (CRM)
    Performance calculation (modified Dietz, GIPS)
  • Risk management
  • Controlling
  • Simulations
  • Constraints
  • Customized benchmarks

Thanks to its ability to handle multiple currencies and languages, FolioLine is also suited for use by financial service providers with an international focus. Moreover, FolioLine is fully scalable and meets all requirements for auditing and certified public accountants.

The system has been in commercial use for over ten years. For one customer in this period, more than one million securities transactions were generated automatically and posted in the accounting system without manual intervention being required.

Overall, the use of FolioLine moves administrative activities for asset management into the background, leaving advisors and asset managers more time for customer service and asset allocation. This way, even low volume asset management clients (as of about € 5,000) can be serviced cost effectively and efficiently.
